Connect to Universities in Your Area

Students are forever looking for field trips to go to so that can escape the prison of the classroom. Students aren’t too particular about where they go, but teachers are. An excellent resource that isn’t tapped nearly enough is the option to go to the university laboratories for demonstrations and tours of the facilities at the university. Not only will this expose students to the opportunity of going on to study STEM fields in college, those interested in STEM fields can gain contacts at a local university to help them learn more about what opportunities are available to them at the university level.
