Links to Math and Science Competitions
A simple way to help increase interest in math and science is to add a level of competition between the students.
With the proper incentives and inspiration to succeed, the students will be more than willing to step up to the plate and compete. Pizza parties, trips, prizes and other incentives will get students to take these competitions seriously. Success in these competitions will make them more interested in becoming involved in the field as a career option if they have more interaction with the various careers available to them.
